Seasonal chef - Swan 105 - Private/Charter
Seasonal chef needed for a Swan 105 from September to end of November. There is potential for this position to become full-time if the owners decide to cross to the Caribbean. They have just gone commercial and acquired a Spanish charter license ahead of the Americas Cup. There has been several inquires so far and the feel confident they will have bookings. She runs with 4 crew, has spacious crew accommodation and a good galley set up. Your main responsibility is managing the galley but you would also help out with service. You need to have a sailing background and be keen to be up on deck. When the owner is onboard it goes down to 3 crew as they prefer not to have a stewardess onboard.
Itinerary prior to Americas Cup for the season is a mix o SoF, Sardinia and Italy.
Looking for a chef with previous charter experience who understands the standards required. Owners are GF and prefer a healthy diet, more fish than meat. There are usually 4-5 guests when owners are onboard and they can take up to 8 for charter.
The rest of the crew are all in their mid to late 20s who enjoy doing crew activities and water sports together. Looking for someone who definitely doesn't gets seasick, boss loves to sail when onboard and most lunches are done underway. Open to male and female candidates. If female you must be happy to share with a male crew member.
Qualifications required: STCW, ENG1, goos sailing knowledge, previous charter chef background
