Stew/Crew Cook - 45m SY 4 months leave
We are recruiting for a Stew/Cook to join a 45m+ performance cruising sloop.
The position is meant to support both the Chef and the Chief Stew, when and where required, so involvement in both departments will fluctuate depending on workload in each department and related boat needs.
The workload of the candidate will be planned and split between departments by mutual decisions of Chef and Chief Stew.
In the galley the candidate will support the Chef with provisioning and storage, assist in meal preparation and in all other jobs as per Chef instructions. They must be able to cook balanced healthy Mediterranean diet during times that the chef is on leave. Hygienic work practices as per HACCP standards is a must.
In the interior the candidate shall be solely responsible for crew area and crew laundry, shall assist the Chief Stew when and where needed. They must be capable of all aspects of interior maintenance, stowing the yacht as well as efficient stocking practices. Capable of maintaining fabrics and stain management knowledge is a must.
ENG1 (No restrictions) and STCW up to date.

A privately owned boat with a unique itinerary, Pacific, New Zealand and further afield.
The vessel offers a Malta SSC package and WYCC Medical Insurance.
The current crew onboard are close net and social, active and outgoing. Longevity is key to joining this team.
