3:3 Rotational engineer - 37m SY - Worldwide cruising
We are looking for a rotational engineer who holds a degree in electromechanics or similar and/or expertise in this field for a 37m performance sailing yacht. This is a private program and a minimum of a AEC2 is required but a candidate who is working towards a Y4 or equivalent is preferred. There is a comprehensive training package on offer and the 366kW engine qualifies for sea time and career progression.The current rotation is 3:3 and the program has an excellent track record for longevity.
The yacht has recently had a significant refit, including two new generators and a completely overhauled main engine. An interest in water sports is advantageous, as the guests enjoy kitesurfing, and some of the crew members.
For the next 3 years the cruising plans include USA east coast, Caribbean, Brazil, South Africa before heading to the Indian Ocean and Asia. After that the Pacific for 2027/2028. Owners usually just come as a family of 4 and use the yacht for around 10 weeks of the year.
Qualifications required: AEC2 working towards bigger qualifications, background in electromechanics preferred.
