Chef 34m SY - world cruising
A 34m SY is seeking a passionate Chef to join their exciting world cruising program. This is a private program, with a good history of crew longevity and adventurous owners who like to get to know the crew and make sure that they can enjoy the destinations where possible.
They are looking for a female Chef to join n Bali for early June. They will be based in Indonesia over the summer, and the owners will mostly be enjoying diving and sailing. It will be advantageous for candidates to be keen and competent divers.
They will then cruise to Palau and the surrounding Micronesian Islands before making their way to Japan in time for the spring blossom, and eventually the Aleutian Islands to Alaska and BC.
They arelooking for a chef who is really keen to challenge herself with remote cruising and provisioning. They run with 6 crew. Prior sailing experience is a must due to the miles ahead.
It is a family boat, and often there will just be one to two guests. The owner uses the boat heavily, but is respectful and it managed well so that crew can have down time. Family style meals, simple and using local provisions where possible. The owners understand the limitations of some of the more remote locations and this is part of the experience for them.
The crew is really keen on the adventure ahead and they are keen to have someone who is excited to join for a trip like this.
