A 37m world cruising sailing yacht is looking for a Sole Stew to join their team of 5.
This role would be to start for late May/Early June to assist the current Stew with the end of a yard period and then do the delivery to the USA. There would then be time off until September which is when the role would officially start.

Over the next 3 years the yacht is sailing world wide. Starting this summer in NYC and then up the east coast before heading to the Caribbean. From there its onwards to Brazil, South Africa, Indian Ocean, Asia and finally Pacific.

Seeking a candidate with 2+ years industry experience who has ideally come from a large sailing yacht. This could suit a 2nd stew looking to advance into a sole stew role and a new challenge. You must have a background in high-end service as this is something that is expected onboard. Candidates needs to be driven, be able to mange their time and have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. A reasonable understanding and appreciation of wine is required. Yacht can provide WSET course training if necessary.

Sailing ability is a bonus, but not essential, as the successful candidate will learn during passages and be expected to participate. Any interest in water sports would also be a significant advantage.
