We're looking for an experienced 1st Mate with around 5 years experience in the industry for a 30m+ performance sailing yacht, they charter 6/8 weeks a year, owner use is 8/10 weeks a year. This role is open to both male or female applicants, ideal candidate is 26+, and must hold their YM offshore (commercially endorsed) and PB2. Bonus qualifications would be GMDSS, AEC1.

Someone who has a solid sailing experience, this could be in dinghies, keelboats, performance cruising yachts of any size, plus time on 80-100' performance cruising boats. Racing experience is a bonus.

You need to be proficient in basic rope work including splicing, good sail handling and climbing ability. A water sports enthusiast ideally, someone who knows how to wing foil would be fantastic.

The ideal candidate would have a friendly outgoing manner, is organised and methodical, helps to maintain a harmonious atmosphere and is considerate with the guests when onboard. A history of outdoor pursuits and sports is highly desirable along with any musical ability. Fitness is important as this is a physical job

There is a larger leave package on offer, around 3-4 months paid holiday/year. 
Program for the winter is the Caribbean and next summer season will be Scandinavia. 

This role would suit someone who enjoys active sailing, working with guests and is looking for drive time and more responsibility. Start date is flexible but anytime from the beginning of Sept to Oct.

Qualifications required: YM Offshore, PBL2. GMDSS and AEC1 would be bonus. around 4-5 years experience
