Rotational engineer - 40m SY - World cruising
A 40m modern classic sailing yacht is seeking a Rotational Engineer to join a dynamic and fun crew early November in Palma. The vessel runs with five crew so the engineer will at times also need to support on deck.
Candidates must hold a minimum of AEC2 and be ideally enrolled on the SV route. Previous sailing yacht experience is essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a close-knit crew as well as autonomously. Strong organisational skills and confidence with planned maintenance and troubleshooting are key, along with a proactive, hands-on approach.
The crew onboard are a young, fit, and energetic team who enjoy an active lifestyle. They are water sports enthusiasts and share this passion with the owners, making this role well-suited to someone who values teamwork and enjoys being part of a sporty, sociable environment.
The yacht will leave for the Caribbean and your handover would be on the crossing. After the Caribbean they are embarking on a Pacific adventure in 2026.
Qualifications required: AEC2 minimum, YM offshore is a bonus, enrolled in the SV route
