Rotational Chief officer - 55m+ SY - World cruising
This world-cruising program is seeking a strong, experienced sailor to join a well-established deck team as they embark on an extensive itinerary over the next few years.
The yacht is currently on its way to Uruguay and Patagonia, where Christmas will be spent, followed by stops in Costa Rica, the Galápagos, and Tahiti. The program is well planned with good amount of downtime between passages, a great program for someone who is looking to do some miles and gain sea time.
The start date will be mid-January and the yacht is expected to reach New Zealand at the end of 2026 for a refit and further cruising. The owner enjoys involving crew in all activities, so a diving background, good fitness, and enthusiasm for hiking and outdoor experiences are important.
Minimum qualification required is an OOW and 8–10 years of industry experience. You’ll be joining a strong, stable deck team and there is also a deck/engineer who transitions to deck duties when the owner is aboard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, capable sailor to step into a dynamic world cruising program.
