A 35m+ sailing yacht is seeking a rotational Captain to join in Newport within the next month, initially to complete a structured handover with the existing Captain for a couple of weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Captain to step into a well-run, stable program with strong support both onboard and ashore. Yacht master ocean minimum but a Master 500 would be preferred.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced sailing Captain with a proven record of crew management and longevity, and a calm, safety-conscious leadership style. Strong organisational skills, clear communication and the ability to lead by example are essential, along with a solid understanding of best practice safety procedures and compliance. This role would suit a Captain who values consistency, professionalism and maintaining a positive onboard culture.

This is a private, world-cruising program with an exciting and varied itinerary planned over the coming years. The yacht is supported by a hands-on management company, providing excellent operational. and administrative backup.

Qualifications required:YM Ocean minimum - Master 500 preferred, B1/B2 in hand
