Seasonal chef 37m SY
A 37m SY is looking for a seasonal chef to start on the 1st February in Florida, West Palm Beach. Ideally the candidate can commit to end of September. Full time is always possible but open to both.
The crew are healthy and active, enjoy healthy food and varied activities together outside of work.
Crew pitch in where needed, Chef is generally left to their job but crew and owners love to see the Chef on deck when sailing and will need to be involved in docking and some sailing when they can.
American owners, enjoy simple healthy food done well. Timing is important so looking for a candidate with good organisation and galley management as well as high level of cleanliness.
The itinerary is for Owner trips, daysailing, entertaining out of West Palm Beach through to April when they head out to Bermuda for a couple of short trips whilst spectating at the Sail GP regatta. Following Bermuda they head to New York, and will have guest trips there during Sail GP event and Fourth of July celebrations (250 year celebration) Cruising Maine later July and August.
Winter should be in the Caribbean.
Male or female but female preferred for balance of numbers.
STCW in date for planned period of employment, ENG1, Food and Hygiene level 2, Drivers licence.
Package: Salary DOE, 38 days holiday, annual vacation flight. Medical insurance
