A 30m performance sailing yacht is seeking an experienced First Mate to join a competitive and well-structured program.

The yacht does approximately six weeks of cruising with the owner each summer, with the remainder of the season dedicated to the full Mediterranean regatta circuit. This is a serious racing program, and the successful candidate must be a strong, experienced sailor with proven regatta experience. Confidence during manoeuvres, solid sail handling knowledge and the ability to perform under pressure are essential.

This is a hands-on role requiring a Mate who is not only performance-driven on the racecourse, but also highly organised and methodical when it comes to the logistics and maintenance involved in transitioning the yacht between racing and cruising modes. Managing deck preparation, coordinating servicing schedules, overseeing equipment changes, and ensuring the yacht remains immaculate and ready for both owner use and competition will be key responsibilities.

The yacht is Palma-based for the winter, where maintenance, planning and regatta preparation take place ahead of the upcoming season.
