Stew/Deck 38m SY
A modern 38m sailing yacht is seeking a Deck/Stew to join the program ASAP in the USA. This is a private yacht embarking on an exciting world cruising itinerary for 2026, offering the opportunity to be part of a true adventure program.
The yacht is currently in Newport, USA, preparing to head south through Panama as part of a wider world tour. The first trip will most likely be in Cuba or alternatively - Colombia and the San Blas Islands. Following this, the yacht plans a July trip around New York, Newport and Boston, before a short yard period in Savannah. After the yard, the yacht will continue through Panama and head into the Pacific to carry on the round-the-world program. Departure south is planned for mid to late March.
This is an active sailing program with significant passages ahead, so candidates must be comfortable at sea and adaptable to extended cruising.
The role will be primarily interior-focused when owners are onboard, managing service, housekeeping and day-to-day guest care to a high standard. However, you will also be expected to assist on deck during deliveries, passages, yard periods and whenever required. A positive attitude and willingness to work across both departments is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one season’s experience, preferably on a sailing yacht, or at least some familiarity with sailing from a young age. Organisation, attention to detail and a proactive mindset are key, along with the ability to integrate smoothly into a close-knit crew environment.
