Rotation Engineer 50m SY

A 50m modern classic SY is seeking a rotational Chief Engineer to join by late March/April in Palma.

They will spend half the summer in the Med, late summer in New England and the winter in the Caribbean.

This is a 10:10 rotation and a dual season, private program with an excellent history of crew longevity.

They are seeking a hands-on and personable rotational Chief Engineer for a well-run, active sailing yacht programme. This is a busy role suited to a seasoned sailor with strong electrical and IT expertise.

The role involves full engine room management, preventative maintenance, hydraulics and sailing systems, as well as supporting deck operations and shipyard periods. You will also mentor junior crew and work closely with an owner who is genuinely engaged and interested in the engineering side.

We are looking for someone proactive, positive and easy to get along with. A strong work ethic, sense of humour and passion for sailing are essential.

Requirements:
• MEOL minimum (SV 2nd preferred)
• Valid US B1/B2 visa
• Large sailing yacht experience
• Strong electrical, IT and networking skillsItinerary:
