2nd stew - 80m+ SY - World cruising, 3:1 rotation
A 80m+ sailing yacht is seeking a Second Stewardess to join a well-established priavte/charter program with a start date around 1st June.
The yacht is currently based in New Zealand, undergoing a short yard period, before heading into an exciting Pacific cruising itinerary. Upcoming plans include Vanuatu for an owner trip, followed by a charter in July, and then cruising through New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, Fiji, and onwards to Asia before Japan and eventually Canada.
This is a busy, owner-focused program, with high usage and a strong interior team structure. The yacht runs with four stews onboard (Chief, Second and two Juniors), operating on a 3:1 rotation, with the Second rotating alongside the junior stews.
The ideal candidate will be a strong Second Stewardess or experienced Senior Stew stepping up, with solid service skills and some leadership experience. You should be confident working in a structured interior, able to support the Chief Stew and help guide junior crew. A sailing yacht background is preferred.
Personality fit is key. The owners are very interactive with crew, so a bubbly, outgoing and confident personality is important. The team would benefit from someone who brings energy and presence.
Candidates should have a few years of experience, be adaptable to a liveaboard-style program, and comfortable with long periods onboard balanced by rotation.
This is a great opportunity to join a long-term, world-cruising sailing program with a varied itinerary and strong team structure.
