Temp/seasonal Chef - 30m SY
A 30m sailing yacht is seeking a Sole Chef to join in Palma anytime throughout June, with flexibility through to early July for the right candidate.
This is a well-established and well-loved private program, spending the summer cruising the Mediterranean. The main owner trip will run from the end of July through to the end of August, with approximately five weeks of continuous cruising.
The owners are looking for someone with previous sailing yacht experience and a minimum of one season cooking onboard. The style of food is generally fresh, healthy and varied, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and attractive presentation. Most meals are relaxed and family-style, however the chef should also be comfortable stepping things up when entertaining guests onboard.
The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable and capable of running the galley independently, including provisioning, menu planning and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. A positive attitude and ability to integrate are essential.
