An 80ft sailing yacht based in the USA is seeking a Captain. This could either be a seasonal role until October or full time position.

This is a modern classic sailing yacht built and improved with performance in mind. They will participate in 4 regattas over the summer around Rhode Island, east coast USA and the owners plan to spend 2-3 weeks cruising in Maine during September.

The boat runs with 3 permanent crew, with extras brought on for racing or any longer passages when required.

The owners are experienced and passionate sailors who have cruised and raced extensively over the years.

They endeavour to create a warm, respectful family dynamic where the crew can take pride in their roles and representing the yacht and enjoy the program.

There is an SUV provided for the Captains use and they are offering a competitive package for the right candidate.

Seeking candidates with the right to work and live in the USA, but also open to candidates with valid B1B2 visa. Seeking candidates with a background running a similar size programs and ideally experience on performance yachts and racing.

Qualifications required: Prior experience running a similar size program.
