Mate/Engineer 30m performance SY

A 30m high-performance private sailing yacht is seeking a First Mate/Engineer to join its active, world-cruising programme.

Launched in 2021 and freshly refitted in summer 2026, their

itinerary will include the Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA East Coast, with future plans for the South Pacific and a worldwide circumnavigation.

The owners are active and hands-on, enjoy sailing every day while onboard and regularly fly the spinnaker and Code Zero. They are also heavily involved in kitesurfing, fishing and watersports. Owner trips generally last between one and three weeks.

The ideal candidate will be a strong and confident sailor with a solid engineering background and previous experience aboard yachts of a similar size. Strong watersports and kitesurfing skills would be a particular advantage.

  • Salary: DOE

  • Leave: TBC, approximately 42 days per year

  • B1/B2 visa advantageous but not essential

  • Start date & Location: Palma, October
