Deck

First Mate 45m SY (open to couples)

A modern, well reputed 45m SY is seeking an experienced First Mate. This is a well established dual season program which will include a mix of cruising and some participation in regattas such as the Antigua Superyacht challenge and the St Barths Bucket.

The deck runs with a First Mate, Deck Stew and Deck Engineer, but there will be times when the Deck needs to be run independently.

The owners have owned yachts for many years and they enjoy building successful , respectful and lasting working relationships with the crew.

They will spend the winter in the Caribbean which will include the St Barths Bucket, with the summer season to be confirmed between the USA or Baltic.

The First Mate will have a minimum Yacht Master Ocean and prior experience with in-boom furling and captive winches. Diving and OOW qualifications as a “preferred but not essential”. Must be a strong watch leader and able to lead by example.

There are good incentives in place to reward longevity and commitment to the program

This is ideally open to couples partnered with a Chief Stew.
