A 50m sailing yacht is seeking a deckhand to join a busy private/charter program.

The yacht is looking for someone with a genuine interest in sailing who is keen to develop within a well-run program. They are open to considering a relatively green candidate, providing they hold their YM Offshore and have a good sailing background. This could be a great opportunity for someone looking to build their large sailing yacht experience, with a team who are happy to train and mould the right person into their way of working.

The role will be hands-on across all aspects of the deck department, including sailing operations, maintenance, tender driving, guest activities and the general day-to-day upkeep of the yacht. They are looking for someone proactive, practical and enthusiastic who is happy to get stuck in and become part of the team.

The yacht is currently heading into a two-month yard period, before crossing for a shorter Caribbean season. They will then return to the Mediterranean by the end of February for a larger yard period and rig refit, ahead of a busy summer 2027 season. This gives the successful candidate a good opportunity to become familiar with the yacht and its systems before the program gets fully underway.

Qualifications required: STCW, ENG1, YM Offshore preferred for less experienced candidates
