Chef – 40m+ Sailing Yacht - 2/3 months' leave
A 40m+ sailing yacht is seeking an experienced female Chef to join ASAP ahead of a busy Caribbean season.
The yacht has a private/charter program, with two confirmed charters and the potential for further bookings, alongside several owner trips throughout the winter. The yacht will be attending the Antigua Charter Yacht Show before continuing with a mixture of charters and private cruising around the Caribbean.
The owners enjoy simple, fresh and healthy food, with an emphasis on balanced, flavourful family-style cooking rather than overly elaborate fine dining. They are looking for someone with a varied repertoire who can consistently produce delicious, well-presented meals while adapting to different guest preferences and charter requirements.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing the galley independently, including provisioning, menu planning, inventories and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Previous experience on both private and charter yachts would be advantageous, alongside a positive attitude and the ability to work well within the wider crew.
The yacht is looking for someone who ideally wants to commit long term as they might head to the Pacific after the Caribbean. There is flexibility around the leave package, with approximately 2–3 months' leave being an option.
The yacht is due to depart for the Caribbean during the second week of November, so they are looking for someone who can join as soon as possible to settle into the program ahead of the crossing.
