CAPTAIN / CAPTAIN COUPLE | 37M SAILING YACHT

A 37m sailing yacht is seeking an experienced Captain to join in Spain. The position is open to an individual Captain or an established couple, with the second candidate joining as Chef, Chief Stewardess or First Mate.

This is a busy private/charter yacht with a dual-season programme and seven crew. The owner has had the yacht for many years and maintains a positive relationship with the crew, with proven longevity across every department.

The yacht has a strong base of repeat charter clients who return each year. Following its winter period in Spain, it will begin a later Caribbean season after Christmas, with summer 2027 potentially spent cruising the East Coast of the USA.

The successful Captain will ideally have previous command experience on sailing yachts over 25m and be confident managing a busy private/charter programme. They should be hands-on, organised and capable of maintaining the yacht’s established standards and positive crew culture.

Requirements:

• Yacht Master ocean min
• Previous sailing-yacht command experience
• Experience aboard yachts over 25m preferred
• Strong leadership and crew-management skills
• B1/B2 visa in hand
• Excellent references and proven longevity

Start: ASAP in Spain
Programme: Dual season, private/charter
Crew: 7
Package: Salary DOE with a good leave package
