ENGINEER | 30M PERFORMANCE SAILING YACHT

A 30m high-performance private sailing yacht is seeking an Engineer to join its active dual-season programme as soon as possible.

They will be sailing between the Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA East Coast. The upcoming programme will also include some regattas, with Antigua and the St Barths Bucket confirmed for next season.

The owners are active, enjoy sailing daily while onboard and are heavily involved in watersports. Owner trips generally last between one and three weeks.

The yacht runs with four crew, creating a collaborative and hands-on environment where everyone works together and assists across departments when required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and previous experience aboard yachts of a similar size. The role also includes deck duties, so candidates must be experienced and confident sailors who are happy to contribute to all aspects of the yacht’s operation.

They are looking for a practical and proactive team player who enjoys being part of a close-knit crew. Strong watersports experience, particularly kitesurfing, would be a significant advantage.

  • Qualifications: AEC2 and Yachtmaster

  • Salary: DOE

  • Leave: 60 days per year

  • B1/B2 visa advantageous but not essential
